we visit the Transition Towns Network annual conference for 2009. If you’ve not heard of Transition Towns yet, it’s a grass roots movement, that seems to have grown in response to the general inactivity of the Government. It’s based around the idea of local community action, town by town, to find a way to ween ourselves off, amongst other things OIL! The founder of the movement, Rob Hopkins speaks
