From our great friends at “Do The Green Thing” comes:-

Ninjin – The Vegetable Assassin, is a phantom-like, elusive figure that some only speak of in whispers. Some have not heard of him, perhaps because the people were whispering in the first place.

Some maintain he is an illusion, a modern myth. But he is more than real.

This concept really fascinated PTV, see what you think..

The Solar Roadways project is working to pave roads with solar panels that you can drive on.

1 minute to save the world is a short film festival that PTV really admires! See this example! (It won Third prize!)

About the festival and it’s aims:

Advertisers and multi-nationals have long known the value of even just one minute of film. With the help of our international Partners we will use your entries as a platform to carry your voices far and wide in a global campaign for the planet rallying public and political support in the lead up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference and continuing until CO2 targets have been met.  To take part all you need to do is creatively respond to the challenge of climate change using film as your medium.

Here’s a brief glimpse of Volkswagen’s new E-BIKE! It’s a clever new take on City mobility. Shown here at Auto China 2010, this fun and eco-friendly bike is apparently going to become an available accessory for your VW too, and not just a concept design!

The documentary film, Vanishing of the Bees, narrated by Ellen Page of “Juno” fame, takes a piercing investigative look at the economic, political and ecological implications of the worldwide disappearance of the honeybee.

Directors George Langworthy and Maryam Henein present not just a story about the mysterious phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder, but a platform of solutions, encouraging audiences to be the change they want to see in the world.

A wonderful short film that says it all..

As economist Herman Daly once commented, he would accept the possibility of infinite growth in the economy on the day that one of his economist colleagues could demonstrate that Earth itself could grow at a commensurate rate.

Whether or not the stumbling international negotiations on climate change improve, our findings make clear that much more will be needed than simply more ambitious reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. This report concludes that a new macro economic model is needed, one that allows the human population as a whole to thrive without having to relying on ultimately impossible, endless increases in consumption.

Climate Kid is the world’s first environmental mutant superhero.

Or at least he will be in a few million years if we don’t find ways to adapt to climate change. Watch this fabulously futuristic film we made with UNICEF narrated by broadcaster Jon Snow about an ordinary kid evolving extraordinary body parts to adapt to extreme climate changes.
