The Positive for Youth Awards are run by young people for young people and our way of recognising and rewarding outstanding youth contribution to our Three Global Goals of Educational Innovation, Empowering Everyone and Environmental Rejuvenation. In it’s fifth year, the awards seek nominations for outstanding young people who are inspiring others in their local communities through individual contribution and projects for change. The awards offer exciting opportunities for winners to be mentored and developed by some of the most inspirational people from across all industries.

Background to the Awards
The Positive for Youth Awards were established in 2012 as part of Legacy Project which is the charity arm of RoundTable Global. Positive for Youth as a concept was created by Patron of the awards and MP, Tim Loughton while Minister for Children to provide support and resources that would empower young people across the UK. Positive for Youth is an initiative focused on bringing light to the fantastic contribution that this generation brings to community and culture which is often over looked.

The awards are for individuals and groups aged 13-25 nominated within the specific categories below. Winners will receive an exciting bespoke learning or educational experience from the award sponsors plus 1:1 coaching and mentoring and the opportunity to get involved with RoundTable Global youth projects.

The London awards will be run on the Jetty, Greenwich Peninsula Wednesday 2nd August from 4pm and will include a line up of inspiring speakers and exciting live performances.

Awards categories, how to nominate, quotes from previous sponsors and media from the last award winners can be found below.

Nominations are assessed by a group of independent youth judges who are supported by mentors but ultimately decide on who the winners should be. Winners for each category will be invited to attend the awards ceremony with live performances and presentations in August 2017. Nomination deadline is 24th July.
